The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Developer who thrives in ambiguity, builds with purpose, and thinks beyond code. In this role, you will be working in a fast-paced agile environment tackling meaningful challenges — from digital identity to fraud prevention and HR tech. The Senior Developer will be responsible for all aspects of software development as part of an Agile team. The position is accountable for participating in and guiding all technical activities within the team, including estimating, sprint planning, software development life cycle activities, code reviews, research, deployments, and documentation creation. You will provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and intermediate team members, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software that aligns with customer needs and requirements, technical architecture, development standards, and quality practices.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end feature development in a modern SaaS environment

  • Write, review, and mentor others in producing clean, scalable code (20% of your time will be dedicated to mentorship and code reviews)

  • Partner in a triad with Product and Design to lead project delivery

  • Plan, estimate, and deliver on timelines with a focus on business impact

  • Champion observability, reliability, and high availability in production systems

  • Support and unblock customers by resolving high-priority bugs

  • Work asynchronously with globally distributed teams

  • Contribute to technical strategy, architecture, and documentation

What You Bring

  • Strong proficiency in Python or similar tech stack; adaptable to other languages and stacks

  • Solid experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular

  • Deep understanding of REST APIs and authentication/authorization

  • Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

  • Proven track record in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)

  • Experience mentoring developers and leading teams or projects

  • Ability to articulate the business impact of technical decisions

  • Bonus: Experience with ambiguous or complex problem spaces
