The Role

As a Fullstack Engineer at Unthread, you will dive into our codebase, contribute to our architecture, and ship high-impact features that support our fast-growing customer base.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Take ownership of full-stack features from ideation to deployment, building core product enhancements and new AI-driven workflows.

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code across both our back-end and front-end environments.

• Participate in technical discussions and code reviews, collaborating on system architecture and scaling challenges.

• Work closely with the CTO, senior engineers, and product team to turn requirements into reality.

• Troubleshoot complex issues, squash bugs, and optimize the performance of a robust, user-first platform.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a highly motivated builder who thrives on solving real-world challenges. You’ll do well here if:

• You have 2+ years of professional software engineering experience, delivering solutions to real users.

• You are proficient with Node.js and TypeScript. You have experience working across both back-end and front-end, and you’re comfortable picking up new frameworks as needed.

• You have solid experience with relational databases (like Postgres) and familiarity with deploying to cloud infrastructure (like GCP) in production environments.

• You’re excited by AI. You see it as more than hype and are eager to apply real-world AI solutions to help teams streamline their processes.

• You thrive in environments where collaboration and feedback matter, and you're comfortable engaging in constructive discussions to reach the best outcomes.

Work Setup

We operate in a hybrid environment that fosters both collaboration and flexibility. We gather in-office during the week with Fridays remote, plus flexibility when needed. This in-person time is invaluable for rapid onboarding, whiteboard sessions, and collaborative problem-solving.
