About Phoebe

Phoebe is modernizing America’s home healthcare infrastructure. This is the coordination layer for one of the largest labor markets in the country.

Today, we build AI teammates for home care and home health agencies - starting with scheduling workflows that are mission-critical, high-volume, and deeply broken.

About the role

Our scheduling agents have gone 0→$1M in just a few months, and we're looking for a high-throughput sales/GTM generalist to help scale into the multi-millions over the next 6 months.

We have strong, clear demand but are constrained by sales capacity and throughput. You’ll join as our first sales/GTM hire and work directly with our founding team to convert demand into revenue - and help shape how sales works at Phoebe.

This is a highly visible, core role on the team with a clear initial objective - but a flexible path forward as the company scales. As you prove leverage, your role can grow into owning a quota-carrying AE lane, GTM leadership, 0→1 GTM lead for new product, or anything in between - based on what you’re exceptional at and where Phoebe needs you most.

This role does not come with a script or a clean quota. You’ll be in the messy middle of building and running our playbook: talking to operators, defining/tightening our processes, pressure-testing messaging, and doing the work to make sure our best opportunities convert.

What you’ll do

  • Own full-cycle sales for a segment of opportunities, including discovery, demos, follow-up, proposals, and standard negotiation

  • Run a high volume of thoughtful, consultative sales conversations with SMB, mid-market, and enterprise operators

  • Sell both existing product capabilities and new features/concepts still being developed

  • Partner with customers to understand operational pain and future needs, not just current feature gaps

  • Translate customer feedback into clear insights for product, engineering, and GTM

  • Leverage AI/LLMs as a core part of your workflow to improve speed, quality, and learning

Who you are

  • a confident, curious, full-cycle seller who thrives in early-stage environments

  • strong in discovery, motivated by understanding how customers actually operate

  • comfortable being uncomfortable and selling in ambiguity (build the plane while you fly it)

  • can clearly communicate value even when messaging/features are still evolving

  • take ownership, move quickly, and exercise good judgment without rigid guidance

  • actively use LLMs and leading tools to move quickly and learn more from conversations

Nice to have

  • Early-stage experience (Seed to Series A) with a high growth tech startup

  • Experience selling into healthcare, staffing, or workflow/ops software

  • Familiarity with home care/home health (if not, a genuine interest to learn the market fast)

What we offer

  • A foundational seat doing high-leverage work at a company with real demand and a product that matters

  • Competitive salary with above-market equity

  • Small team where your work ships to customers immediately

  • In-person in NYC (Chinatown / LES)

  • Multiple second-time founders to learn from - Justin (CEO) sold Bayes (YC S19) to Airtable. Dave built and sold Kamana, an app for travel nurses.
