The Role

We’re looking for an ambitious, early-career investor who loves surfacing the most exciting pre-seed and seed founders before anyone else.

What You’ll Do

• Work the circuit: dinners, hackathons, demo days, saunas, meetups, pickleball, coffees, walks, happy hours - whatever works to meet the best founders!

• Build a trusted network of founders, operators, and connectors.

• Spot lightning early: identify top technical founders ahead of the curve.

• Share real-time insights on emerging companies and communities.

• Add value to the founder community.

About You

You’ve got hustle and muscle. You thrive on meeting founders where they are. You are high-energy, fast to connect and are always honest, helpful and authentic. Humor is a plus. More specifics:

• Founder’s mindset: scrappy, resourceful, action-oriented.

• Connector energy: thrive in social settings, build trust easily.

• Curious & plugged-in: deep interest in emerging tech and standout founders.

• Self-directed: thrive independently with clear goals.

Moxxie is an early-stage VC fund investing in pre-seed and seed startups across enterprise, consumer, climate, fintech, healthcare, infrastructure, and vertical AI. We’re former operators and founders (Google, Twitter, Apple, NVIDIA, YC, etc), backing technical founders building the weird, the wild, and the what-ifs. We invest in pre-seed and seed startups and write $500K-$1.5M checks. Our focus spans enterprise, consumer, climate, fintech, healthcare, infrastructure, and vertical AI. We can lead or co-lead rounds and target ~10% ownership.
