About Fursure
Fursure is building a new financial well-being platform for pet owners. Our mission is to make sure all pets get access to the care they need, without it becoming a financial decision. We are transforming how people care for and spend on their cumulative 185 million pets, which is a $100B market today in the US, growing to $275B by the end of the decade.
Fursure offers two products — a national Pet Insurance Marketplace helping over 25k+ pet parents across all 50 states and the Fursure Card, a Pet Rewards Debit Card for pet parents to earn supercharged points on their pet spend to redeem on veterinary care.
About the Role
Skills Necessary: JavaScript, CSS
Strongly preferred: Mobile Development, Flutter, Typescript

We're building a new type of pet experience
Today, we focus on financial education and financial security related to pet ownership via our insurance and debit card products. As a full stack software engineer, you will be working with designers, sales, and marketers to help define and ship new products that drive Fursure's mission to transform how pet parents pay for pet care, with financial products and guidance to help them make better decisions for their fur-family.
What You'll Do
🚀 Zero to One: brainstorm, research, and develop new features and intuitive financial pet products from scratch
📈 Innovate on our Current Product: build out new functionality, improve on our current mobile products
⚡️ Integrations with Partners: API connectors with partners and systems
🤩 Think of new strategies to add more value to pet parents lives and help our company implement them
Qualifications
Have a growth mindset and be resourceful - always be learning and picking up new skills and finding new tools as needed on the fly
Believe in ownership and delivering results - have demonstrated desire and ability to own projects of all sizes and deliver strong results
Team player - you'll be collaborating with our designers, sales, and product/strategy teams
You're customer obsessed - you enjoy being close to the customer, and want to really understand our pet parent customers' pain points to help solve for them
Experience with building out web/mobile applications at scale
Bonus: Worked in fintech/insurance or with a consumer or pet related company
