Account Executive


August Health is an early-stage digital health company that builds technology to enhance quality of care for vulnerable older adults. Our product is guiding the transition from complex, paper-based practices in the long-term care industry to a modern, elegant SaaS platform. We’ve achieved product-market fit and are readily signing up customers who wish to improve care, mitigate risk, optimize revenue, and save time for their staff.
Our mission is to:
(1) promote compassionate personal care for frail elders,
(2) bridge healthcare access gaps, and
(3) strengthen overburdened caregivers.


We're looking for the first sales person to join our team and help us create a repeatable sales motion within our core target customer base. The ideal person is eager to:
Acquire new accounts within a pre-determined list of Assisted Living communities
Help define and iterate on sales processes as we learn and grow
Our sales team is just getting starting so there’s enormous opportunity to tackle major white space accounts, define process and sales strategy, onboard and coach new reps and work with the founders on key growth pursuits.
We effectively sell into both SMB and enterprise accounts. The SMB leads who are operating completely on paper-based systems today are converting within a week of initial contact and gain immediate transformative value for their communities. This role will focus on SMB and therefore it’s essential to have high velocity outreach to establish multiple demo meetings per week.


Develop relationships within a pre-defined list of Assisted Living Communities
Own and lead deal cycle from the first call to the close
Partner with internal stakeholders, utilizing available resources, to collaboratively sell to prospective clients
Pitch and demo August Health to Operations Managers and Owners
Build and manage a large pipeline of business while achieving and exceeding individual quarterly quotas
Ensure high activity to align with pipeline generation goals
Create satisfied, reference-able, and referring customers


1 - 3 years of software selling experience to SMB or Commercial accounts
Hunter - appetite for opening and closing new accounts
Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, selling environment preferred
Business savvy to work with senior decision-makers
Ability to clearly articulate your point of view in a professional manner
A results-oriented approach that balances a “take charge / never give up” attitude with teamwork and collaboration
